The Wisdom

He is the unveiler of deep and secret things, He has knowledge of what is in the dark, and the light has its living-place with Him.I give You praise and worship, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and strength.

My Help

My eyes are lifted up to the hills: O where will my help come from?

Let not mercy and good faith go from you, let them be hanging round your neck, recorded on yor heart.

So you will have grace and a good name in the eyes of God and men.

Put all your hope in God, not looking to your reson for support.

My eyes are lifted up to the hills: O where will my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. May he not let my foot be moved: no need of sleep has he who keeps me. See, the eyes of my keeper will not be shut in sleep. The Lord is my keeper; the Lord is my shade on my right hand. I will not be touched by the sun in the day, or by the moon at night. The Lord will keep me safe from all evil; he will take care of my soul. The Lord will keep watch over my going out and my coming in, from this time and for ever.

The Power of Love

Love is never tired of waiting; love is kind; love has no envy; love has no high opinion of itself, love has no pride. Love’s ways are ever fair, it takes no thought for itself; it is not quickly made angry, it takes no account of evil. It takes no pleasure in wrongdoing, but has joy in what is true; Love has the power of undergoing all things, having faith in all things, hoping all things. Though the prophet’s word may come to an end, tongues come to nothing, and knowledge have no more value, love has no end.

The Shepherd

The Lord takes care of me as his sheep; I will not be without any good thing.
He makes a resting-place for me in the green fields: he is my guide by the quiet waters.
He gives new life to my soul: he is my guide in the ways of righteousness because of his name.
Yes, though I go through the valley of deep shade, I will have no fear of evil; for you are with me, your rod and your support are my comfort.
You make ready a table for me in front of my haters: you put oil on my head; my cup is overflowing.
Truly, blessing and mercy will be with me all the days of my life; and I will have a place in the house of the Lord all my days

The Eagle

Give praise to the Lord, O my soul;

The Prayer

The measure of our life is seventy years;
and if through strength it may be eighty years,
its pride is only trouble and sorrow,
for it comes to an end and we are quickly gone.
So give us knowledge of the number of our days,
that we may get a heart of wisdom.
